Omega Environmental Management, Inc.
Omega Environmental Management, Inc. was incorporated in April 1997, and operated from an office in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Founded by John Triantafyllos, Omega quickly established west coast capabilities with the hiring of Bruce Scheibach in September 1997.
The principals, John Triantafyllos and Bruce Scheibach were principals at a large national environmental firm and found themselves billing out at ever increasing rates, and spending more time on administrative tasks than on projects. The formation of Omega has allowed us to focus on our true passion, project work.
Over the past eight years Omega has built an experienced technical staff with undergraduate and advanced degrees in Geology, Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Biology, Construction Management, and Engineering. The company’s unique structure and low overhead has allowed Omega to offer significantly lower billing rates than larger environmental firms. These lower billing rates allow Omega’s principals to work directly on projects at comparable rates charged by larger firms for mid-level personnel.
Omega prides itself in being
a solution-oriented consulting firm with project experience ranging from Phase
I site assessments to management of PRP Superfund sites. Much of Omega’s
annual revenues are generated by repeat business from our existing Fortune 100
clients, and from their referrals.
The company maintains valid contractors’ licenses in various states and
is fully insured allowing Omega to provide its clients with turnkey environmental
services.
As the environmental market has matured over the past decade, industrial clients have discovered that solving an environmental problem is more dependent upon the individual working with them than on which environmental firm they hire.
